I know it’s only soap but when Damo dished the dirt on his investment strategy in the Shortland Street promo viewed through the corner of my eye this week, something didn’t quite wash.In a shock turn of events, the Shortland Street head of IT confessed to the reception desk staff he had “sold his shares, and cashed in his KiwiSaver”.As a long-time non-fan of the almost 30 year-old popular New Zealand soap opera, I might be missing some important historical context, but the Shorty script-writers should’ve consulted...
