New $150m Summerset village in Cambridge greenlit

Summerset said it has resource consent to build a $150 million retirement village less than two kilometres from Cambridge's town centre in the Waikato.The company said earthworks are expected to start this year on the 260 two and three bedroom villas and cottages, as well as serviced apartments and care rooms, and the first residents should be moving in by early 2023.The village will include a state-of-the-art memory care centre for those with dementia as well as a full continuum of care.Summerset already has three villages in the Waikato.&...
