The Reserve Bank of New Zealand, Te Pūtea Matua, has dumped software partner Accellion whose filesharing software was hacked in 2020, compromising the bank’s sensitive customer data.The Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) now uses the popular filesharing software of US firm Box. First reported by Reseller News, the RBNZ declined to answer additional questions posed by BusinessDesk including which other providers were considered, when the change took place, and whether the bank is still using any Accellion services.A spokesperson said work to f...
