The new MacBook Pro has undone a lot of the work ex-Apple head of design Jony Ive did to slim down the company’s laptops.I’ve been testing the 14-inch version MacBook Pro (there’s also a 16-inch) with a chunky design akin to older Apple laptops like the PowerBook G4 from the early 2000s and the MacBook Pro circa 2012 to 2015. The device has Apple’s M1 Pro chip, a new processor the company has developed in-house along with the even more juiced up M1 Max since it ditched partner Intel recently. The laptop has an...
