The Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet (DPMC) says businesses can accept vaccine passes on sight.The confirmation backs up comments made by prime minister Jacinda Ardern this week and means businesses are not obliged to use the Ministry of Health's (MoH) purpose-built verifier app. Ardern said on Tuesday the MoH’s NZ Pass Verifier app was a “handy tool, but it is not a requirement in order to operate.
