The Ministry of Health has released a smartphone app businesses can use to verify domestic covid vaccine passes, but guidance on its use is still not published. NZ Pass Verifier can be downloaded for iPhones and Android devices and uses the smartphone or tablet’s camera to scan the QR codes on people’s domestic My Vaccine Pass.It cannot scan international vaccine passes.The app was built by Spark subsidiary Mattr, which also designed the My Vaccine Pass vaccine certificate system. Minister for covid-19 response Chris Hipki...
