Minerals Exploration announces name change, new chair

Minerals Exploration, formerly known as Uvre, has announced the approval of its name change and the appointment of a new chair.

Shareholders approved the name change at the annual general meeting held on Nov 27, and the change has been recorded by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).

The new name is expected to take effect on the ASX and NZX on Dec 3, 2025, with the new code being MEX.

Norman Seckold has been appointed as the chair, while Brett Mitchell has taken on the role of executive director.

The company is focused on brownfields exploration in New Zealand's gold sector and is in the process of establishing a new website.
