Seeka earnings up 9% despite $5.3m covid hit

Kiwifruit grower Seeka battled its way to a 9 percent increase in first-half operating earnings despite an estimated $5.3 million impact from covid-19. The firm reported $30.4 million in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation for the six months to June 30, up from $27.9 million a year earlier.
