OMV warns Pohokura work may be caught by travel ban

OMV says inspection work underway on the offshore pipeline from the Pohokura gas field may be affected by travel restrictions imposed to slow the spread of covid-19.Production from the country’s biggest gas field is halted while the inspections are carried out and while the field’s onshore production station undergoes four-yearly inspections and recertification.The pipeline inspection was expected to take about 45 days, allowing for potential bad weather.
