The latest Newshub-Reid Research poll has the National party polling strongly, ahead at 40.5% support to Labour’s 38.2%, as prime minister Jacinda Ardern’s popularity took a large hit compared to the poll taken in February.She is down seven percentage points to 36.3% support as “preferred prime minister”, one of her lowest scores since winning the 2017 election.However, neither party would be able to form a majority with their natural coalition partners, leaving Te Pāti Māori with the balance of power.A general election...
