Air NZ cuts back Shanghai flights

Air New Zealand will cut the number of flights to Shanghai as customer demand has weakened because of the coronavirus outbreak. The airline had already suspended flights to Shanghai until March 29. Today it said from March 30 it would reduce the number of flights to a return service every second day until April 30, from the the seven return services per week it had been operating. The Auckland-Hong Kong route, which has been operated through Cathay Pacific, will resume from March 29 using Air New Zealand aircraft.
