Beach Energy has opted to delay further work on its plans for drilling off the North Otago coast.The firm originally planned to drill a well this summer but earlier this year deferred that to the third quarter of 2021 citing covid restrictions on the international movement of specialist tradespeople and the international retrenchment underway in the industry.But Beach yesterday said it and its partners in the venture – London-based Discover Exploration and Singapore-headquartered OG Oil & Gas – have decided not to contract a rig...
