Cannasouth shares were a bright spark on the market yesterday, jumping 6.9 percent to $1.08 on news the medicinal cannabis firm had received a licence for research and formulation activity. The licence, issued under the New Zealand Medicinal Cannabis scheme in force since April 1, applies specifically to the firm’s Hamilton site which had been operating under an older medical research licence.  The green light for research, which involved a site audit by the newly formed Medicinal Cannabis Agency, is one of 13 issued so far under the sche...
