Businesses grappling with new mandatory climate reporting standards will be given more time to implement some of the rules.The External Reporting Board (XRB), which developed the standards, has faced pushback from some climate reporting entities (CREs) regarding the timeframes for fully implementing them. On Oct 8, it released proposed amendments to the transition rules for public consultation, with the deadline for submissions on Oct 30.
