New Zealanders will experience a less restrictive Easter following the government's decision to downgrade the country's response to the covid pandemic from red to the orange traffic light setting from 11.59pm on Wednesday. This comes as the seven day rolling average of covid cases dips under 10,000 cases a day for the first time since Feb 24, a drop of over 3,000 cases compared to a week earlier. There were 15 covid related deaths reported overnight, though the seven-day rolling average had reduced from about 20 to 13.In his a...
