A years-long battle over a loan repayment has led to a multimillion-dollar judgment in the High Court at Auckland.In what the court has described as an “ongoing saga”, property developer Neville Mahon has been ordered to pay his former friend Timothy Edney $6.52m plus interest relating to a property deal that turned sour.The ruling, by Justice Marina Wilkinson-Smith, pertains to a loan that Edney’s business, Small, gave Mahon to buy several properties in Māngere, South Auckland, in 2014.The purchase – by M...
