Annual inflation is now just above the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's target range. NZ's Consumers Price Index (CPI) rose 3.3% in the 12 months to the June quarter, according to figures released by Stats NZ on Wednesday.The lift follows a 4% increase in the 12 months to the March quarter.The Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) is mandated to keep annual inflation at 1% to 3%. "The 3.3% annual price increase is below what was seen during the peak in 2022 and is similar to 3 years ago,” Stats NZ's consumer prices senior mana...
