Annual inflation now at 3.3%

Annual inflation is now just above the Reserve Bank of New Zealand's target range. NZ's Consumers Price Index (CPI) rose 3.3% in the 12 months to the June quarter, according to figures released by Stats NZ on Wednesday.The lift follows a 4% increase in the 12 months to the March quarter.The Reserve Bank of NZ (RBNZ) is mandated to keep annual inflation at 1% to 3%.
