Consumers in good cheer ahead of holiday season

Consumers’ perceptions of their current financial situation are well above the average for the past five years and they are also feeling better about the future, according to the latest ANZ-Roy Morgan consumer confidence index.The index rose 3 points to 123.3, the highest since March 2018 and above the long-term average of 120.
