The government will let businesses apply for further resurgence payments as the lingering Auckland lockdown keeps firms across the country under pressure.Finance minister Grant Robertson and revenue minister David Parker announced the extension to the scheme, which was initially a one-off payment for businesses to help take the edge off returns to higher covid-19 alert levels.The changes mean companies that have experienced a 30% drop in revenue as a result of covid restrictions can apply for a second fortnightly payment on Sept 17, and that th...
