Higher petrol costs and rising housing-related costs are likely to spur a lift in fourth quarter inflation, but economists say it won’t be enough to shift the Reserve Bank's outlook.“We do not expect the Q4 CPI outturn to reveal an inflationary smoking gun,” said ASB Bank economist Mark Smith.
