Tourism still easing as Australian, American visitor numbers decline

International visitor numbers continued to fall in November as declining numbers of Australians and Americans joined the slowdown in Chinese arrivals. Separately, provisional net migration numbers are lower than estimated as a new system gets fine-tuned.A total of 372,108 international visitors made the trek to New Zealand in November down 3.5 percent compared with November 2018, Stats NZ figures showed.Of those, 129,636 were from Australia, down 1.2 percent, 38,820 were from China, down 2.8 percent, while 39,251 were from the US, down 5.3 perc...
