Auckland fails in inorganic landfill diversion

Auckland Council will break up the procurement and warehousing of its inorganic collection service after the five-year-old programme failed to meet its target of diverting waste from landfill.Increased diversion of waste from Auckland landfills was a “significant priority” under the city’s 2018 waste management minimisation plan.
