ASB has created a $500 million housing fund to support lending to affordable, social and Māori housing developments.In a statement released on Friday, the bank said the Accelerated Housing Fund would support the delivery of up to 1,000 homes over the next two years.ASB business banking executive general manager Rebecca James said that in creating the fund, ASB had adjusted its key lending metrics and criteria for social and affordable housing, making it easier for developers to finance new housing.“We have a role to play in addressin...
