Global investment manager BlackRock has yet to make any investments via its dedicated New Zealand climate fund, which was announced with significant fanfare by former prime minister Chris Hipkins last August.At the launch, Hipkins described the country-specific fund as the first of its kind and explicitly linked it to efforts by the government to transition NZ to 100% renewably generated electricity – a goal the former Labour administration ambitiously stated it wanted to achieve by 2030.“This is a game changer for the clean tech se...
