Maui sells rest of Freshmax to Sydney-based Roc Partners

Maui Capital sold the last of its stake in Freshmax, fetching 4.5c per fund share for the horticulture business, according to its latest update.  A quarterly update for the Indigo fund to December 2024 said it had invested $40.2 million in the fruit business and realised $14.1m of that, leaving $11.2m unrealised.However, Freshmax was sold after that at approximately 1c per fund share more than the previous holding value.The purchaser was Sydney-based Roc Partners, which recently purchased 25% of NZ Rural Land’s portfolio.The Indigo f...
