Expatriate Canadian James Grenon appears to need support from shareholders representing about 10% of the shareholders of NZME, publisher of the New Zealand Herald, BusinessDesk, and owner of a suite of radio stations and the OneRoof real estate platform, to achieve an attempted board spill.Grenon is leading a bid for a director clean-out at the company’s annual meeting on April 29, nominating four unnamed replacements and offering to keep just one of the current board.Grenon has informed NZME that he has indications of support from about...
