Parliament has announced the terms of reference for its inquiry into banking competition, focusing on business and rural lending.Minister of Finance Nicola Willis requested the inquiry as part of a commitment outlined in the National Party and New Zealand First coalition agreement.In June, Willis asked the Finance and Expenditure Committee (FEC) and Primary Production Committee to jointly develop terms of reference, join meetings to hear submissions relevant to rural banking and prepare a report on rural banking to feed into the overall inquiry...
