RBNZ survey shows another big jump in inflation expectations

The Reserve Bank's latest survey of businesses about how they see inflation developing showed a big jump with one-year-out inflation expected to hit 3.7% and two-year ahead inflation at 2.96%.In the previous survey three months ago, one-year ahead inflation expectations were at 3.02%, up from 1.87% in May, and two-year ahead expectations were 2.27%, a 13-year high and up from 2.05% in May.Expectations for five years ahead also rose to 2.17% from 2.03% in August and 2.06% in May, but expectations of inflation further out at 10 years fell sli...
