Using KiwiSaver for rental bonds is the most financially irresponsible thing I’ve heard in years.In case you missed it, the National party has just announced a policy that would allow people under the age of 30 to tap into their KiwiSaver account to pay a rental bond. It would go directly from KiwiSaver to tenancy services and could be transferred as the bond for a new tenancy for up to five years.
