Virtual bell-ringing as Laybuy joins rivals on ASX

They won’t get the chance to ring the bell in Sydney when New Zealand-founded buy now, pay later company Laybuy lists on the ASX.Covid and travel restrictions have put paid to that – but Monday 2pm NZ time will see the Kiwi company debut on the Australian exchange, with a stitched together virtual celebration being held for co-founders Gary and Robyn Rohloff in Auckland.It will join a juiced-up field, with giant of the genre Afterpay and rival Zip both attracting investor cash through the ASX as the buy now, pay later industry grows...
