Almost 10% of Auckland International Airport shares are up for grabs as Auckland Council looks to sell down its stake. In a Wednesday morning market announcement to the New Zealand Exchange (NZX), Auckland Airport asked to enter a trading halt until the council shareholding is sold. It said a “relatively large number” of brokers were asked to submit offers for the more than 163 million shares, which is a 9.71% share of the infrastructure asset.
