A new report from the Infrastructure Commission said the average household spends about 16% of their after-tax income on infrastructure services, or about $13,500 a year.The report on user charges for infrastructure services such as water, roads and electricity analysed what is considered “fair”.Two final reports were released on Wednesday.It comes as the government and councils seek new ways of raising revenue to bolster infrastructure investment, such as expanding the road user charges system and congestion pricing.Infrastructure...
