The sale of finance group ELF to Anchorage Capital Partners was finalised last week, with investors in Maui Capital’s Aqua Fund expecting to double their initial investment.On May 31 Waka BidCo, a company ultimately held by Waka TopCo, which is held by Australian trusts and directed by Anchorage Capital Partners' Beau Dixon and Simon Woodhouse, took ownership of Equipment Leasing and Finance Holdings Limited (ELF).ELF has an asset financing arm, Speirs Finance, and heavy machinery sales and servicing division AB Equipment.Investors in...
