New Zealand Exchange-listed Fletcher Building has reported a $227 million loss, with the now-sold Australian plumbing business Tradelink recording a $141m loss. The building giant said on Wednesday it had experienced significantly lower revenues in its materials and distribution divisions as it reported its result for the year to June 30. Fletcher Building said earnings before interest and tax (ebit) for continuing operations before taking into account $333m in significant items was $509m, a 35% fall from $785m in the previous fi...
