Retirement village operators still can't get their staff and residents tested for covid-19, even though it's well-established that their residents are most at risk of the worst impacts of the virus.With Auckland again in lockdown after a flare-up of community transmission of the virus, Summerset, which has five villages in Auckland, is still denied the ability to test, despite its willingness to cover the costs of doing so.Not only is the evidence from overseas abundant that the elderly are most at risk of serious illness or death...
