Northport is appealing a decision to reject its expansion plans – described as a catalyst for the region's growth – in the Environment Court.The port said on Wednesday morning it had lodged the appeal and was serving submitters to the consent.When the three-person panel hearing the consent applications released its decision on July 9, the port said the rejection of the eastern expansion project was "deeply disappointing for the company and its shareholders”.“Northport will now need to review the 96-page decision...
