OMV is hoping to get an in-fill drilling programme underway from the Maui A platform next month. The work, using the specialist Archer Emerald rig, aims to drill six to seven wells ‘side-tracked’ from the platform’s existing wells to tap bypassed gas and condensate resources. The campaign, known as the Maui A Crestal Infill project, was originally scheduled for the March quarter but was postponed due to the covid-19 outbreak.
