Auckland International Airport is facing a rough couple of years, but it may have an ace up its sleeve: property. The company’s net profit tanked 63 percent to $193.9 million in the year to June as a plunge in passenger numbers saw revenue fall 24 percent to $567 million, weighed by falls in airfield, passenger service, retail and car park income.
