SFO probes use of non-public funds at NZ Defence Force

The Serious Fraud Office has launched a probe into alleged misuse of non-public funds at the New Zealand Defence Force. The fraud agency is expected to complete the probe in early 2020, the NZDF said in written answers to questions from Parliament's foreign affairs, defence and trade committee on its annual review.The NZDF’s group of entities includes 11 non-public funds, which are designed to give benefits to service personnel.
