SkyCity Entertainment Group is to shut down the gambling operations at its Auckland casino for five days.The casino operator agreed to settle a suspension application filed against it by the Department of Internal Affairs after an investigation revealed the company breached harm-minimisation obligations.The agreement is conditional on Internal Affairs' (DIA) gambling commission consenting to the withdrawal of the department's original application.SkyCity estimates the impact of a five-day closure to be around $5 million.Consequently, it...
