Catering workers who stayed home during the first covid-19 lockdown last year are seeking leave to appeal an employment court ruling against them.The workers from Gate Gourmet filed the precedent-setting case to determine what minimum wage entitlements should be for those who were at home and able to work, but were not called on.In January this year, the employment court ruled in favour of business and against unions, but chief judge Christina Inglis dissented.The workers are now seeking leave to go to the court of appeal, and their applic...
