I’ve seen a number of Kiwis on LinkedIn and Twitter advertising the fact they’ve pre-ordered Starlink, the new satellite broadband service developed by Elon Musk’s rocket company SpaceX.The new sign-ups are either fibre-challenged, living beyond the reach of the ultrafast broadband network, and even fixed wireless services, or craving the bragging rights that go with being early adopters of Musk’s offerings.
