Coal miner Bathurst Resources has reported operating earnings of $41.4 million for the September 2022 quarter (the first quarter of 2023), up $28.8m from the same period last year. The New Zealand company, which is listed on the Australian stock exchange (ASX), said it's still on track to reach its full-year June 2023 guidance of $120m to $130m earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (Ebitda). Over the same two quarters, its production has dropped, and costs have risen from $41.0m to $54.0m, with bad weather a...
