Synlait has taken out an $8.8 million court case against the vendors of a specialty cheese business it bought.Synlait purchased Talbot Forest Cheese in 2019 for $38.5m but says it has performed poorly for the NZX-listed dairy company.In last September’s results briefing, Synlait cited Talbot as the specific reason its consumer brand Dairyworks underperformed in the 12 months prior.
