Market Close NZ shares fall as Air NZ selldown in focus; Moa sinks
Nov. 19 (BusinessDesk) – New Zealand shares fell, pushing the NZX 50 Index lower for a second day, ahead of the announcement that the Air New Zealand selldown didn’t require a discount and as brewer Moa Group posted a first-half loss. The NZX 50 dropped 29.527 pints, or 0.6 percent, to 4862.508. Within the index, 25 stocks fell, 12 rose and 13 were unchanged. Turnover was $126 million.
