New Zealand’s disrupted supply chains have become a little more disrupted with American Airlines postponing direct flights to the US mainland from Auckland and Christchurch that were due to begin this summer.While the move is unsurprising, since US tourists cannot travel to NZ without committing to time in managed isolation, Auckland International Airport chief executive Adrian Littlewood fears the postponement risks becoming a permanent cancellation and a sign of things to come.“The subtext of this is we haven’t yet seen the...
