Asian markets perk up as US futures turn positive

The New Zealand and Australian sharemarkets are showing some signs tentative buying interest after US futures turned positive.Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was up 0.87% at 1.10pm in Wellington while New Zealand’s S&P/NZX 50 Index was up 0.94%.The heaviest trading was in Fisher & Paykel Healthcare, which was up 1.1% to $33.800.
