Ebos seeks ComCom clearance to buy NZ LifeHealthcare business

Ebos Group has asked the Commerce Commission for clearance to buy the New Zealand arm of the LifeHealthcare business.Last month, Ebos announced it was buying medical products distributor LifeHealthcare for about A$1.17 billion to increase its position in the medical devices market.The commission said LifeHealthcare distributes medical devices used in orthopaedic surgery, spinal surgery and neurosurgery.
