The former chief executive of New Talisman Gold Mines has to pay $100,000 after admitting to breaching market rules.Matthew Geoffrey Hill admitted making false and misleading representations in breach of the Financial Markets Conduct Act 2013. Hill had made 90 anonymous posts about the company on the website Sharetrader between 2013 and 2020. New Talisman Gold Mines was not a party to the proceedings. In 2022, the company paid Hill a $145,000 settlement after an employment case in which he claimed he was entitled to more tha...
