A malfunction in a broker ordering system stymied the debut trading day of the NZX's first new stock listing for the year when the system refused to allow the placement of ordinary shares.The issue was not resolved until late afternoon when traders were locked out, and placements showed zero.   The listing of artificial intelligence (AI) company, Being AI Limited, under the ticker BAI, should have gone live at 10 am.
